Drop-in sessions for green advice’

Recycling, dog fouling and littering will top the agenda at a series of drop-in sessions across Rochdale borough over the next few weeks.
From Monday 11 November to Monday 9 December 2013, Rochdale Borough Council is running eight environmental surgeries at ten libraries in the borough.
Councillor Jacqui Beswick, Cabinet Member for place and regulations said: “Whether residents want to get recycling tips, report incidents of fly tipping or just find out more about environmental services in the borough, our staff will be there to help.”
The surgeries will give residents the opportunity to speak with council officers and pick up leaflets about a wide variety of environment issues in their neighbourhoods such as:
- Waste collections and recycling
- Grass cutting
- Dog fouling
- Fly tipping
- Tree management
- Littering
- Public rights of way
- Untidy gardens/land
- Pathway obstructions

Monday 18 November 10am – 11am Castleton
Monday 18 November 10am – 11am Darnhill
Monday 25 November 10am – 11am Central Library
Monday 25 November 10am – 11am Middleton
Monday 2 December 10am – 11am Heywood
Monday 9 December 10am – 11am Littleborough
