Boy charged with indecent assault of 78-year-old woman

A 15-year-old boy from Norden has been charged with the indecent assault of a Rochdale pensioner.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with sexual assault. He is due to appear before Bury Magistrates Court this morning, Wednesday 6 November 2013.
At about 12.20pm on Sunday 3 November 2013, police in Rochdale were called to reports that a man had exposed himself to an elderly lady at sheltered accommodation on Ravendale Close.
Officers arrived at the scene and established the offender was let into the home of an elderly woman. While there he indecently assaulted her in the bedroom.
The victim is now being supported by specially trained officers.
