Key Stage 4 Matters Evening is on Monday 11 November from 6:00 until 7.30pm. It has been set up to support parents, carers and pupils from Years 10 and 11. During the evening they will have the opportunity to attend workshops to support Maths, English and Science revision, Understanding Targets, Post-16 Careers Fair, Completing College Applications, and speak to ‘Positive Steps’.

The History Reward trip is on Friday 15 November for 40 Year 8 students to the International Slavery Museum at Albert Dock in Liverpool. The Year 8s are currently studying Empire and Slavery in History, so the trip will help put their understanding into context and enhance their knowledge.

All week Languages Assessments will be taking place for Year 10 students.

On Immersion Day, Year 8 pupils took part in a Careers Workshop run by CragRats. CragRats got in touch with the school to inform us they had had a fantastic day with the students, who were enthusiastic, well-behaved and attentive. The students completed their tasks efficiently and produced an impressive standard of work, using their initiative to achieve professional results. The winning team from the day ‘Spray Hut’ displayed fantastic team work and developed a credible product and business model. Well done to all of our Year 8 students, especially the members of ‘Spray Hut’: Jessica B, Louis M, Callum R, Daniel M, Chloe B and Megan N.

Oulder Hill Community High School would like to confirm that all GCSE Certificates are now in school for collection. These can be collected from school reception between 8.00am – 4.00pm. If you are requesting someone to collect these certificates then they will need written authorisation from yourself and whoever is picking these certificates up will need to bring proof of ID with them. Unfortunately we do not post certificates to students as these need to be signed for.
