Issues of no waiting plans at Barley Hall Road. 

Council and public don't want the yellow lines. Agreed Barley Hall Street won't get yellow lines.

Presentation regarding flood strategy.

Presentation regarding housing benefit update. Councillor Robinson is disappointed that the service is an 0845 number.

Councillor Lambert thanked the housing benefit team for their work in helping the vulnerable.

In the open forum, Father Paul Daly asked the committee for support of the Heywood Foodbank.

Councillor Lambert says the issue of money helping the Foodbank will be resolved next year with the development of a new fund.

Committee have agreed to appoint two trustees for Heywood Relief In Need Trust.

Highway Investment Programme has been deemed successful.

Report regarding heritage structures and buildings. Once work has been undertaken, results will be passed on.

Budget increases are being asked to remain at 2%.

All recommendations regarding services noted by the committee.

School governor vacancy nominations accepted.

A report has been presented to council regarding the significant resources required regarding tree works.

Resources to be updated to deal with the backlog.

Committee welcome the report.

Committee agree report and hope the work will be done as soon as possible.
