Man hit by car in Middleton

A 72-year-old man has been taken to The Royal Oldham Hospital after being hit by a car on Chapel Street, Middleton this morning (Monday 4 November).
Police were called to the scene at 8.57am and closed the road. The man had been hit by a grey Fiat Punto.
It is understood that the victim has suffered a concussion.
The road has now reopened.
