Springhill Hospice looking for volunteers

Date published: 01 November 2013

Springhill Hospice fundraising department is looking for volunteers.

Sarah Ford, Income Services Manager, explained:"We are a very small fundraising team, so we rely on volunteers in so many ways and for so many different things. It's our 25th Anniversary year in 2014 and we've planned so many new events, plus we're planning on giving our normal events a bit of pizazz to celebrate our anniversary. We really need help."

Fundraising Lead Alison McGuigan added: "We're a really happy, friendly team. The business of fundraising is a serious one but we always manage to have fun along the way."

The hospice would be grateful of any help, but do have specific immediate needs:

Selling on Ebay: Items donated to the Hospice and shops could raise much more money on eBay, whether they be new items or collectibles.

A group of people that can be called on to help with tombola's and raffles, bag packs and buckets collections.

People who would like to help put together the Hospice Calendar for 2014.

If you can offer any time at all please phone Sarah, Alison or Lillie in Fundraising 01706 649920.
