Primary pupils enjoy comic drawing and making clay pots

Date published: 29 October 2013

Pupils from Hopwood and Woodland Primary Schools took part in another Art event hosted by Siddal Moor Sports College.

Pupils and teachers from Hopwood spent the afternoon with Siddal Moor Art Teacher Mr Graham where they took part in a Comic Drawing Workshop.

The pupils created a range of different cartoon characters.

Pupils and teachers from Woodland were able to sample the delights of using clay to make name plaques and created a range of pinch and coil pots.

The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and will receive their pots once they have been fired and glazed.
