Hamer Community Primary School

Date published: 26 October 2013

On Friday 18 October, six of our children went up to Smithybridge Primary School to join in their Youth Club activities. They were there from 6.30pm-8.30pm and were an absolute credit to us all. Thank you in particular to Mrs Coward for organizing this opportunity for the children.

Also the Hamer Youth Club Representatives were awarded the Citizens of the week for week ending 25 October for having fantastic manners and being fully involved at Smithybridge Primary School in the after school youth club. Well Done.

Thank you to all who came along to the Eid/Harvest Assembly on Friday both this morning and afternoon to share in our Harvest and Eid celebrations. Thank you for your generous food and money donations. We will let you know which charity these donations are sent to.

Thank you for the positive feedback linked to the workshops that the school put on to support parents in applying for Year 6 children’s places at Secondary school .We have received confirmation from the LA that they have received application forms for all of the Year 6 children at Hamer.
