Winter opening times for recycling centres

From Sunday the 27 October Recycle for Greater Manchester’s Winter opening times at the Recycling Centres are from 8.00am - 6.00pm every day (the centres are closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day) with the exception of Salford Road Recycling Centre which opens 10.00am - 4.00pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
A spokesman said: "We provide a network of 20 Household Recycling Centres for local residents to recycle waste from their home. The network allows residents the flexibility to use their local Recycling Centre or one that's on route to work or another destination."
Recycling Centres accept up to 23 types of material from textiles to TVs to fridge freezers and fluorescent tubes.
