Students from Rochdale Sixth Form College visited The Manchester Central Convention Complex
Budding musicians and media students from Rochdale Sixth Form College visited The Manchester Central Convention Complex earlier this week to meet with Universities and Stage Schools across the country about how best to pursue their career paths.
The UCAS Fair gave year 13 students the opportunity to speak directly to staff and students and find out more about the study of music and associated career avenues.
The event was called “UCAS Compose Your Future” and the students were able to take part in a number of interactive workshops and presentations.
Heather Ellison, Associate Senior Leader at Rochdale Sixth Form College, said: “This was a fantastic networking event for our students to meet and discuss the best ways for them to pursue their careers whether that be going down the traditional university route or attending one of the many stage schools.
"The students were so enthusiastic and I’m sure created a great impression in front of their prospective teachers.”
