A budding engineer from Rochdale has taken his first steps towards a bright career with the region’s power operator Electricity North West.
Robert Lees from Rochdale joined ten other trainees from across the North West, to embark on the four-year apprenticeship scheme, which will see them train to work on the region’s local electricity network.
Robert, 19, said: “I heard about the apprenticeship scheme through a friend who was already on the course and it seemed to be the best available. I hope to progress further with Electricity North West and gain more engineering skills.”
