Mary Towneley Loop MTB Challenge 2013
The 10th anniversary of the Mary Towneley Loop Mountain Bike challenge saw 195 eager participants turn up to complete, despite what was the worst weather imaginable.
The weather didn’t dampen any of the participant’s sprits and made it into a memorable challenge.
The first participants back completed the challenge in an impressive time of 4 hours 12 minutes, and out of 195 competitors 181 managed to successfully complete the challenge.
A spoeksman said: "The feedback from competitors was once again very positive despite the weather and it was a massive success for us as we managed to raise over £4,000 to help the continued running of our team.
"Once again, big congratulations to all who took part and we hope to see you all again next year."
