St John’s RC Primary School

Date published: 11 September 2013

Welcome back to a new academic school year. We hope that your summer has been enjoyable. Thank you for sending your children in on the first day all looking so smart and ready to learn.

There is currently a high demand for school places. We are no exception and we are not able to take further admissions. Consequently please place value on the place that your child has at this school by ensuring that he/she is achieving 100% attendance and also arriving at school on time.

Future events

Talk re-education in personal relationships

A meeting for parents and carers which relates to the very important issue of education in personal relationships will take place on Tuesday 24 September at 2pm in the school hall.

It is aimed for parents with children in year 1 to 6 and looks how you can teach your children about e-safety, morals and supporting your child through puberty to name a few areas. Involvement from parents is invited and warmly welcomed.

Parent/teacher meetings

It is our aim at all times to ensure that your child is subject to teaching of the highest quality so that he/she will achieve their full learning potential. The parent/teacher meetings for this autumn term are planned for Monday 18 and Friday 22 November. If you have any questions that cannot wait for that meeting simply ask your child’s teacher at the start or end of the day or make an appointment at the school office.
