The fair and raffle is our biggest fund raiser and all money goes back into school funds for the benefit of all children. Thank you.

Recycling
Until Friday 5 July, we are still collecting unwanted small electrical items, e.g. toasters, irons, kettles, fan heaters, etc. and you will get a chance to win £200 worth of shopping vouchers. The school who collects the most items will win £500. There are some recycling bins in the foyer at the front of the school. If you bring any items into school, you will need to get a form from the office which you need to fill in and then register online to enter the prize draw.

Everyday Next Week

Lunchtime Crunchtime!
For those children who have a packed lunch we will be having a competition to see who can bring in a healthy green packed lunch (not green in colour but Eco-friendly!). You could consider the following points:
How much packaging does each item in the lunch have? (Try to use as least packaging as possible, you could use tubs instead).

How healthy is the lunch?

Have the food items travelled from far away? (For example has the food come from Egypt or England? The further it has come from the more air miles will have been used therefore the closer the better!).

Could the left over items be composted or recycled?
We will be weighing the waste throughout the week and see if we can cut down on the amount of waste we produce at lunchtimes.

Bike-It

Next Thursday is the last Bike-It before the raffle is drawn for a new bicycle.
