Healey Foundation Primary School

A selection of boys from Year 5 and 6 will be taking part in a STRIDE dance taster lesson in school courtesy of Falinge Park High School who have nominated us. We look forward to seeing the end result of a street dance routine.

As the better weather approaches we are encouraging children to cycle or scoot to school. Please just make sure that the children have good locks so the cycles can be left safely.

The Celebration Concerts are next week – The bell ringers are performing at the Town Hall on Sunday afternoon and the Year 5 Choral Speakers the following Wednesday evening. We are very proud of the teachers and children who have achieved this honour.

There are no MUSIC LESSONS next week due to SATs. Lessons will resume the following week beginning 20 May. The May Tea is on Tuesday 21 May, letters will be sent out in due course. As usual this is an opportunity for the children to entertain local elderly residents and grandparents.

Well done to the children who were presented with the Achievement Award last week:

Reception Autumn Stott

Year 1 Charlie Oddy
Year 2 Jack Mercer
Year 3 Alex Burrows
Year 4 Kallim Greenwood
Year 5 Jessica Leigh
Year 6 Callum Jackson

School attendance has increased this week and was 97%. Well done.
