Hamer Community Primary School

Date published: 29 April 2013

Thank you to all those parents who came along into school yesterday to support the children in the assembly. The Foundation Unit have been awarded the Citizens of the week for week ending 26 April for an excellent assembly showcasing their fantastic work in all subjects. Well Done.

A group of our Year 3 children will be performing at the IPLCN Dance Festival at Marland Hill School on Wednesday and we look forward to hearing all about it.

You may have noticed this week that many of the borders around the car park have been restocked with plants. Please can you ensure that the children do not walk over these and keep to the appropriate safe footpaths so that we can all enjoy the extra colour around school

There is a Keep Fit Class every Thursday morning starting at 9.00am. If you wish to attend assembly first, please come and join us after assembly has finished. The parent group have the opportunity to link with the Health Trainers who will monitor weight and blood pressure.

A reminder to parents of children who have been offered a place in our Nursery commencing September, a Sure Start form needs to be completed as soon as possible and copies are held in the school office.
