Temporary closure of Spring Vale Recycling Centre

From Monday 22 April 2013 the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) at Spring Vale, Middleton will close to allow for essential maintenance.

This maintenance is expected to take 6 weeks to complete and the facility at Spring Vale is expected to reopen on Monday 3 June 2013.

During this time recycling site operatives will be on hand to advise residents and re-direct site users to another facility if necessary.

Alternative HWRCs are available for residents:

Arkwright Street, Oldham, OL9 9 LZ
Reliance Street, Newton Heath, Manchester, M40 3EZ

These facilities are open seven days a week from 8am to 8pm.

Please note any waste left outside of the site will be deemed as fly tipping, which is an illegal activity. It is advised that the alternative facilities provided be used.
