Healey Foundation Primary School

Date published: 05 February 2013

School closes for the half term break on Friday (15) and will reopen on Monday 25 February. Dinner money for the remaining half term until the Easter break is £44.40. This is another very short half term, school will finish for Easter on 28 March.

The PTA are holding a Valentine Disco on Thursday 14 – the disco is for children only starting at 4:30pm and will end at 6:00pm. There will be dancing, games and craft activities for the children, we are also having a ‘photo booth’ for friends and sweethearts! A snack is included in the ticket but children will need extra spending money to join in the activities, buy sweets, drinks etc. If your child is attending when picking up please wait in the reception area until invited in to collect so we can ensure the safety of all pupils.

Year 4 had the best attendance at 97% and overall attendance was slightly down at 95.5%.

Children who have guitar and violin lessons should have received a note about a change of instructor for the time being. This means that the lesson could be on an alternative day, we will let the children know as soon as the new timetable is set.

Mrs Grocott has been updating the school website – if you have any suggestions about what you think might be useful information please let us know either by email, letter or popping in to school and we will try our best to include it. Mrs Grocott will also be adding the latest holiday list 2013/2014 for your convenience.
