Concern for missing 14-year-old girl

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 14-year-old girl who has been missing from home for a week.

Samantha Siddall was last seen by her aunt in Belgrave Street, Rochdale, on Friday 11 January 2008 at 6pm. She left to go out with friends.

Samantha was wearing a grey and pink top, blue jeans, and pink boots.

She is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall, and of slim build. She has long brown hair and brown eyes.

Samantha has been seen in Heywood since she has been missing from home and may be in Bolton.

Police Constable Leo Glossop, of Rochdale Police Station, said: "As time goes on we are increasingly concerned for the welfare of Samantha.

"She has been missing on previous occasions, but not for as long as this and we need to confirm that she is safe and well."

Anyone with information about Samantha's whereabouts is asked to call police on 0161 856 4638.

Samantha Siddall returned home on Sunday 20 January 2008.
