A man has been charged following disorder

A man has been charged following an assault in Heywood.
Timothy Holt of Goldcraft Close, Heywood has been charged with section 18 assault - actual bodily harm and three counts of section 47 assault - grievous bodily harm.
He is due to appear at Bury Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Monday 30 April 2012.
At 2.20am on Saturday 28 April 2012, police were called to Dawson Street following a report of a disturbance involving two groups of young men.
Three men were assaulted by a group of men.
Officers found a 43 year-old man had suffered head and facial injuries in the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is described stable.
A 28-year-old man was also treated for a cut to the head. He has been discharged from hospital.
