Date published: 20 April 2012
Two people have been charged following two burglaries in Middleton.
Jordan Bailey of Kilmaine Avenue, Blackley, and a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, are charged with burglary and theft of a motor vehicle and appeared before Manchester City Magistrates' Court on 19 April 2012, where they were remanded in custody until their next appearance on 3 May 2012.
It follows burglaries at a house on Evesham Gardens in Middleton on 12 April 2012 during which a BMW was stolen and one at a house on Alkrington Hall Road South in Middleton the following day in which a Landrover and a Porsche were stolen.
The vehicles were later recovered.
The investigation was carried out by officers from Higher Blackley, Oldham and Middleton as part of a cross-division operation.
