Falinge Park High School
Several students from Mr Dalby's after school songwriting group are currently working hard to put the finishing touches to their own original compositions which they are due to perform at the Manchester Future Perfect Festival at Castlefield Arena on Saturday the 12 May.
We are proud to announce that Cara McGlinchey in Year 11 has won both the Bryning Trophy for Folk and the Pamela Bowl for Vocal at the recent Rochdale Festival of Music, Speech and Dance. She will receive her awards at the forthcoming Festival Awards Ceremony In May. Well done Cara!
Children from across Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 will be travelling to London on the 11 and 12 May to attend a West End Show and to visit the Warner Bros Studio to see the ‘World of Harry Potter’ exhibition. The trip will also include a visit to the Rainforest Café and the Natural History Museum. The learners will also be watching a live performance of ‘The Woman in Black’.

Tuesday 12 June 2012 Creative Approaches to Photoshop Workshop 5.00pm to 7.00pm
Saturday 16 June 2012 Storage Box Making Workshop 9.00am to 12.00pm
Saturday 7 July 2012 Spotland, Falinge and Healey Dell Local History Tour 10.00am to 12.00pm
