Weather-related changes to bus services

Bus operators are reporting that snowfall in parts of Greater Manchester is causing disruption to some bus services, with Oldham the area worst affected.

Roads in Oldham are experiencing significant congestion due to the weather and accompanying road conditions.

Anyone travelling in an area with significant snowfall is advised to head to a main road to catch a bus, as main roads are prioritised for gritting.

The following reports of changes to specific bus services have been received, but passengers are advised to check their operator's website for the very latest information:

The 81 is currently using Vulcan Street and starting at the corner of Abbotsford Road/Vulcan Street.

The X84 is omitting Carrcote, and the 184 Diggle is not accessing Dobcross.

The 415 is missing Greenacres Road, using Huddersfield Road and Stamford Road in both directions

The 64 is missing Coldhurst estate, using the 409 route.

The X82/428/408 cannot access Buckstones Road/Hillside Avenue.

All 184 services are terminating at Uppermill.

The 350 is operating Ashton to Uppermill only.

The 353/354 services is running Ashton to Uppermill.

The High Peak 199 service experiencing disruption and is currently unable to serve Buxton.

The 83 service is going to Sholver via Wilkes Street in and out.
