We had a Mobile Planetarium visit For Key Stage One’s Exit Point for their topic “Light and Dark Topic”, the children in Year 1 and Year 2 went up to Space on Monday! They were transported up to Space and learnt all about the planets and the stars – a cosmic experience for all!!
Thank you for all your support for the joint Spring Event. It was great to see so many of our children enjoying different spring themed activities. The winner of the “Guess How Many Eggs.?” was Kai Bamford in KS1.
Congratulations and Well Done to Mr. Khan’s Class they are the overall winners of the Spring Term Attendance Award. Their reward was a trip to the cinema; to see “Puss in Boots”. They were the best class for attendance for week ending 30 March and were also awarded the Good Citizen’s Award.

It is the end of another very busy term here at school. As you know, our children have achieved an enormous amount through the fantastic teaching and learning opportunities that they get here at Hamer. Thank you for the continuing support and Well done to the children, staff and Governors for all their hard work and achievements again this term. School will re-open on Monday 16 April 2012 at 8.50am. Have a happy and safe holiday!!
