Everyone has made the most of the lovely weather this week, there has been a lot of outdoor learning, especially on Friday when we had our Outdoor Poetry Day. Pupils used all of their senses to write the most amazing poems.
We just need to remind parents/carers that if we continue to have sunny weather, children need to have a hat in school and have sun screen applied before school each day.
Reception children have been enjoying the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff as well as getting ready for the great Easter Story. They have also been learning how to subtract numbers using practical equipment.
Year 1 have enjoyed the story of the Gingerbread Man. They have designed and baked gingerbread men as well as creating a Gingerbread Man Hunt for their friends in Year 2. They have been solving addition and subtraction problems!
Year 2 have been writing non chronological reports about SHARKS and they have taken a musical walk through the Enchanted Forest. Ask you child about this!
Year 3 and Year 4 presented their Drama work for this term to their parents. Everyone was very proud of their performance. A big thank you to our parents and grandparents who came and to the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy who lead our lessons each week.
