Healey Foundation Primary School

School has now closed for the Easter Holiday and will reopen on Monday 16 April.

This has been a good term and the children have fully involved themselves in all the life and activities that have gone on – even better we ended the term in the sunshine allowing the children to take full advantage of the new play area. During the holiday the entrance reception area at the main door is being remodelled. The area is being changed to increase security and for the office staff to have a better access to visitors who will be able to conduct their business without needing to access the main body of the school.

Well done to the children who were presented with the Achievement Cup last Friday:

Reception: Hansen Nicholas
Year 1: Emily Limmer
Year 2: Jessica Johnson
Year 3: Ella Hill
Year 4: Alex Lee
Year 5: Adam Mew
Year 6: Georgia Chambers

Attendance was exceptional across the whole school last week at over 98%, an astonishingly good effort. Well done. Year 5 were the best individual class.

Congratulations to Fallon in Year 4 who has raised through sponsorship for her 2000 meter swim in under 40 minutes, the staggering sum of nearly £200! Fallon has raised the money on behalf of the PTA to buy picnic games benches for outside. We are VERY proud of Fallon.

Dinner money for the first half of the summer term is £61.20. A text alert will be sent out as a reminder before the children return on the 16 April.

Have a lovely relaxing and sunny holiday.
