On Wednesday the children in the Nursery and Reception enjoyed a number of interactive sessions with The Expo Chef. They tasted many new foods and thoroughly enjoyed learning more linked to their IPC “Food” topic. Thanks to those parents who also came along to show their support.
Thank you for all your support sending your children into school in their sports clothes for the Sport Relief Mile that took place on Friday. The 50p donations and chocolate for the Easter event is also appreciated. All children and staff joined together to walk the 1 mile distance around our school field over the course of the day. Luckily the weather was also kind to us! Thanks also to staff that joined in with the spirit of the day in their sports clothes (and costumes!)
We will be holding our Easter Activity Event at 3.30pm on Tuesday 27 March. There will be a number of children activities. The Entrance tickets will also entitle your child to one ‘go’ on the Choco Lotto. There will be a number of stalls selling items and running competitions. The support at these school events is always impressive and very much appreciated. We look forward to seeing you there.
The winners of the Good Citizen Award awarded for the week ending 23 March were Miss Nicholson’s Class for working well together and helping each other in the classroom. Well done!
Following the success of our Friday story time sessions for new Nursery entrants, places for September are beginning to fill up fast. If your child (or anyone you know) will be 3 by September 1 2012, please come into school and fill in an application form. Hurry, places are filling fast!
Well done to Miss Beech and Mrs. Connolly’s classes with the best attendance for the week.
