Everyone has been supporting SPORT RELIEF this week in school. Every child and several members of staff have walked a mile each around the school playground in support of this great cause. On Friday pupils and staff wore their sports gear and donated one pound towards Sports Relief for Water Aid. A huge thank you to our staff who organised this event and to our families who supported it.
Reception Class have been reading the story of Rapunzel and making their own towers. They have also been learning about the Bible story of the Loaves and Fishes.
Year 1 have been adding three numbers together this week! They have also been investigating how to help Rapunzel to escape from her very high tower. They came up with some very creative ideas and spotted the problems as well. Ask your children if they have been successful.

They have had to do some research to find out how to build the roof onto their class igloo.
Year 5 and 6 have been responsible for the St Joseph’s Penny fundraising this week. They have done this as well as working hard to complete their topic work and do their very best in all their assessments.
