Littleborough fire-fighters tackle moorland fire

A grass fire led to fire-fighters from being called out in Littleborough.
Fire-fighters from Littleborough Fire Station were called out to a blaze on moorland off Blackstone Edge Old Road at 2.10pm on Monday (19 March).
Two crews went to the scene and extinguished the blaze with a hose reel and beaters.
It is believed the fire was started by youths with matches.
