Thank you to our Chair of Governors Mrs Ilyas who spent an afternoon in school being interviewed by children from Lower Key Stage 2. We look forward to more interviews and finding out who also has made a difference to our School, Community, Town, Country and the modern world.
Children from Mrs Connolly’s Class, Key Stage 1 and The Foundation Stage all represented our school at the Music Festival this week. We are so very proud of them all – both for their performances and their superb behaviour – Well done! A big thank you to all staff involved.
The children in The Foundation Unit have been busily working towards the next stage of The Golden Grin Award. Well done Foundation – Keep it up with the tooth brushing and smiles.
The winners of the Good Citizen Award are Key Stage 1 for outstanding performances at Rochdale Music Festival.
Story sessions for the children who will be joining our Nursery in September continue to be very well attended. If your child is due to start in our Nursery in September of this year, please do come along on Fridays at 11.00am.
Further to the earlier reminder letters have now been sent for the Spring Term Parent Consultations. One area for further development identified at the parents meeting last week was requests to know more about how your child is doing in school. We now have termly Parent Consultations and urge you to come in to discuss progress and targets with us. We are committed to working in partnership with you and value ongoing support.
Next Friday on the 23rd March we will be taking part in The Sports Relief Mile. Children are encouraged to come in non-uniform and bring a donation of 50p. Sports clothes and footwear is encouraged!! Thanks for your support!!
Well done to Mrs. Casey’s and Mrs. Terry’s classes with the best attendance for the week.
