Our focus this term is how to further develop writing across the curriculum particularly through our International Primary Curriculum. We will also be working on the expectation that writing targets are applied to any piece of writing across the curriculum. This is also a great opportunity to gather pupil feedback which then feeds into development plans
Thank you to all parents who attended the recent parents meeting. The ideas to support the Parents and Friends of Hamer were gratefully received. It was great to get feedback on what you think we are doing well as a school and also generate ideas of how we can make our provision even better. It was great to get such positive feedback on Learning Logs, Learning Outside,’ Good to be Green’ Educational visits, to name but a few. We will also look at how we can further develop how we share assessment information with parents and we can potentially facilitate further parenting classes. Any other ideas and/or or comments are always gratefully received.
A reminder that the Spring Term Parents Consultations will be the week commencing 19 March 2012 . Parents will be receiving more information soon regarding appointment times and dates. Please take this opportunity to come and speak to your child’s teacher about the progress that they are making.
