Many thanks to all the students who have entered our 'Woman in Black' Theatre Poster Competition. We will be judging the entries very soon and hope to announce the three winners shortly. We have been very impressed by the high standard of work submitted.

Letters for our CEPA Visit to London have now been issued to students. The two day visit features a trip to major museums, an evening at the theatre to see 'The Woman In Black' on stage and a meal at the Treetop Cafe. The subsequent day features a visit to Warner Bros. Studio in London to see the major 'Making of Harry Potter' exhibition. Places are limited and secured on a 'first come, first served' basis. Please see Mr De Courcey for more details.

Letters for our CALL visits to Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Leeds City Museum have now been issued to learners and the two visits will take place on Tuesday the 22nd of May for F Class Learners and Tuesday 29th of May for K Class Learners. The visit is for the whole Year 7 and we look forward to receiving your replies and money shortly. Please contact Mr De Courcey or Ms Gott for more details.

Well done to all our learners who currently participating in the Rochdale Festival of Music and rehearsals continue in the Music Department throughout the next few weeks.

Tickets for our Music Concert, titled 'The Vibe' are available from school at breaktimes and lunchtimes. The tickets cost £3.00 and are available from Ms Williams. The show takes place on March 20th and features a range of groups, bands and soloists.
We look forward to seeing you at the event.

Many thanks to Meanwood Primary School who joined us this week for our 'Fabulous Fact and Fiction' Workshop in our school library. The Year 5 learners took part in a Learning Trail and enjoyed a range of games and activities. Well done to everyone for such a pleasant morning.
