It was great to see many of you enjoy the recent Volcano Show and we would like to say well done to all children and staff who took part. The Lower Key Stage 2 have been awarded the Good Citizens Award this week for this presentation
The Foundation Unit would like to thank all parents who have sent in empty packets for the latest topic on food we now have a very well stocked shop!

A reminder to the parents who have been attending The Phonics Class that the classes are still on every Friday at 9.15am with Mrs Coward.
On Thursday 1 March the children in Foundation enjoyed a Dental Health Puppet Show. Please continue to support your child’s development by ensuring that they brush their teeth regularly and particularly after a meal.
It was also great to see the transition work that has started in Foundation. The children who will be joining us later this year in September came in with their parents for a special story time. We hope they enjoyed spending time in what will be their new school.
Well done to the Reception Class with the best Attendance for the week commencing 27 February.
Well done to all the children who have already taken part and good luck to the children who will be representing our school at a later date at the Rochdale Music Festival.
We are extremely proud that three of our pupils were awarded first place in their category Hadia Mureed Year 5, Zia Khan Year 4 and Courtney McLeod Barlett Year 6. also Laila Kayani, Baneen Fatima ,Hadia Mureed and Fizah Rehman were awarded 2nd place medals. Our choir took part in the festival on Tuesday morning and all enjoyed the performance.
