Lorry driver, 48, airlifted to hospital

The driver of a lorry was cut free from his cab following a collision on the M62 and taken to Leeds Hospital by Air Ambulance.
Two HGVs were involved in a collision between junctions 21 and 22 at around 1.20pm on Tuesday (28 February), leaving the 48-year-old with leg injuries.
Firefighters from Rochdale, Heywood and Ashton attended the scene and were there for two hours.
Three lanes of the motorway were closed as crews worked to free the man using cutting equipment and a saw.
