Learning logs – unit two and three:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who responded to our questionnaire about the Learning Logs. The overwhelming response has been a positive one. The majority of you felt that the quality of homework had improved greatly and that you enjoyed supporting your children with their Learning Log tasks. The feedback will now allow us to consider some of the suggestions made in the questionnaires.
Music festival:
Our Choir and String Group are taking part in the Music Festival. If your child is involved you will receive letters giving you more information.
World Story Telling Day – 20 March:
As part of the World Storytelling day it would be lovely if you could join in by reading a story to your child or telling them a story at home.
The Big Pedal:
Remember all children who cycle or scooter to school will win a small prize. On Friday the children will be able to cycle or scooter on the school yard. Please encourage your child to take part in this event.
Attendance:
The winner of the attendance certificate for week ending 24th February 2012 was Lavender class with an attendance of 98.7%. Well done Lavender class. The overall attendance for the school was 96.4%.
