Further arrest after man attacked

Police investigating an attack in Rochdale which left a man with a broken cheekbone have made a further arrest.
Just after 3.00am on Tuesday 27 December 2011, the 24-year-old victim was inside Pizza King on Drake Street when he was approached by two men.
Words were exchanged before an argument broke out.
The victim was then punched and he fell to the floor before being kicked to the head.
He suffered a broken cheekbone and bruising to the head.
A 28-year-old man from Rochdale handed himself in to police yesterday (Wednesday 22 February) and was arrested on suspicion of section 20 assault. He was released on bail pending further inquiries until 14 March 2012.
A 17-year-old earlier arrested on suspicion of Section 47 assault has been bailed to the same date.
