Class photographs:
The photographer will be in school on Thursday 8 March from 9.00 a.m. to take photographs of each class.
The Photograph Company will use a ‘proof-card’ system. This means you get a proof (small photo) to look at and decide if you want the full size photograph. You can then order what you wish on a ‘cash with order’ basis. This year instead of the usual ‘traditional style’ class photo we have chosen the ‘studio style’.
Will you please make sure that your child has an extra ‘wash and brush up’ and brings a comb or brush into school on THURSDAY 8 MARCH 2012. If you require more information please contact me in school.
Afternoon Nursery children will be able to have their class photograph taken in the afternoon at 1.00 p.m. on Thursday 8 March 2012.
World Book Day – 1 March:
All the children will receive a £1.00 book token which can be exchanged at shops such as WH Smith/Waterstones and other book shops. For World Book Day the children will be enjoying lots of book activities during this week.
Parking:
We have received complaints from the residents of the bungalows on Thrum Hall Lane about people parking outside their homes. Many of the residents of the bungalows have mobility difficulties and so please do not park in front of these homes. Your co-operation would be appreciated by the residents.
Big Pedal – 5-9 March 2012:
During this week we will be organising a cycle and scooter to school event. If your child cycles or scooters during this week they will earn a small prize. On Friday, 9th March anyone who cycles or scooters to school will earn an extra playtime when they can cycle or scooter on the school yard.
