St John Ambulance on the look out for new members

St John Ambulance in Rochdale is on the look out for some new recruits.
The leading voluntary organisation has completed 125 years of service to the people of Rochdale, by giving first aid and encouraging personal and career development.
Members of St John Ambulance receive up to date training in first aid to advanced levels.
They work with the public in terms of minor injuries and worries and also deal with injuries and trauma alongside the North West Ambulance Service.
The first meeting of the St John Ambulance Association in Rochdale was held in December 1886. Over the years St John Ambulance in Rochdale has been supported by local celebrities of the day, including Norman Evens, Gracie Fields and Bernard Manning.
Members meet at the St John Ambulance Centre on Redcross Street on Wednesdays at 8.00pm.
