World class training facility coming to Rochdale

A ground-breaking facility offering world class coaching in various forms of Martial Arts will open its doors next month.
The Full Contact Performance Centre (FCPC), based in Ensor Mill, promotes effective training programmes based on proven training principles, sound physiology and detailed programming.
The Centre will officially open its doors to the public on Saturday 3 March at 10.00am and is offering a full day of mini fitness challenges with prizes, free taster classes including Boxing, MMA, BJJ, Judo and Wrestling.
FCPC is owned and operated by David Hodkinson, Martin Stapleton and Derrick Cullen.
All three have competed in various forms of Martial Arts for a combined total of over 40 years and have been teaching for about half of that.
The concept of FCPC was born five years ago when the friends were helping each other to train for fights and competitions on a daily basis and struggled to find a facility which taught realistic Martial Arts without having to travel far away.
The Team
David is head Boxing Coach at FCPC. David started Boxing at the age of 11 and amassed 95 fights as an amateur winning 79 of those fights and holding various Amateur titles including North West Champion and East Lancs Champion. David was selected 3 times to represent England in multinational championships against Russia, Scotland and Germany where he fought the World Amateur number one.
Martin is head Strength and Conditioning Coach at FCPC. He has been in the fitness industry since 2006 when he qualified as a Royal Marines Physical Training Instructor, a course which is highly regarded as being one of the leading courses in Strength, Conditioning and Sports coaching in the world.
Derrick is head Judo Coach at FCPC. He started training in Judo at the age of eight and has never looked back. His teaching methods emphasise both the technical side of Judo as well as its functional application.
The team are not only knowledgeable in their field of expertise; they are passionate about it too. They know what they are talking about, because they have been there and done it.
The team said: “Our aim is very simple – to get results. To us that means getting our members stronger, faster, fitter and leaner.
“Our word is our promise and with it we guarantee you results.
“We provide the knowledge, facilities and the enthusiasm; you just need to bring the effort.”
