Hamer Community Primary School

The children in Year 5 and 6 have had a very busy week. On Monday the Year 5 children enjoyed watching a performance of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Kingsway Park High School. On Tuesday, they had a brilliant day at The Blackpool Pleasure Beach Academy. The children had a science focused day where they learnt all about the physics of fairground rides and went on to design and build their own mechanical, moving models!! This was a stunning learning experience which will be the starting point of their work over the coming half term. On Friday afternoon they enjoyed their ‘Beach Party.’
On Thursday the children and staff from Foundation enjoyed an ‘Animal Bop’ and dressed up as animals as a finale to the learning they have enjoyed to the topic Pattern
