Man found dead in Middleton house identified

A man found dead at a house in Middleton has been identified as 31-year-old Edward Mark Worton.
Just after 1.45pm on Friday (3 February) police were called following an incident at a house on Lower Bamford Close, Middleton. Officers attended and discovered the body of Mr Worton. Post mortem results revealed he had died from serious head injuries.
Brothers Vincent Ward, 27 and Aaron Ward, 28, of Burton Street, Middleton, have been charged with his murder.
They appeared at Manchester Crown Court Crown Square today (7 February) and were remanded in custody to appear on 24 April 2012.
