Men arrested on suspicion of murder remain in custody

Two men arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a man was found in Middleton remain in police custody for questioning.
Just after 1.45pm on Friday (3 February) police were called following reports a man had been assaulted at a house on Lower Bamford Close, Middleton.
On arrival, officers discovered the body of a man. He had suffered serious head injuries.
No formal ID has yet taken place.
