Hollingworth Business and Enterprise College
Thank you to staff, parents/carers and pupils who attended the Choices Evening on Wednesday 18 January. It was a very successful event.
Our College Production of ‘We Will Rock You’ is being held at 7pm on Wednesday 1st, Thursday 2 and Friday 3 February. Tickets are still available.
For pupils wanting to take part in the Trampolining Competition this term, either in the singles or synchronised doubles, Trampolining practice is being held after College each Thursday 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the Sports Hall.
The Year 7 Language Drama Club with Miss Lambert and Miss Mills is being held each Thursday from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. in Room 003. Any pupils studying French or Spanish are welcome to come along. Miss Lambert is available at break time or before College for further information.
A REMINDER TO BOTH PARENTS/CARERS AND PUPILS:
Illness: If your child feels unwell during College, they must report to the Pupil Reception with a note from their teacher. If it is necessary, College will contact the parents/carers.
Appointments: If pupils are leaving College for any reason, i.e. a doctor’s or dental appointment, they must get a PINK SLIP from their Head of Year before signing out at Pupil Reception.
Mobile phones: Must be switched off when the first bell goes and cannot be switched back on until pupils are off the College premises, (i.e. out of the green gates at the end of the drive). Pupils must not check their messages, or check the time; the phone must remain out of sight throughout the day otherwise it will be confiscated. If your child has their phone confiscated three times, it will not be returned to them and the parent/carer will have to come to the College to collect and sign for it.

8 February: Year 11 Parents’ Evening 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
