Student grants up for grabs
Date published: 24 January 2012
Two £50 grants for students in Rochdale are up for grabs, courtesy of the Aspire Generations Group.
The newly formed organisation has raised the money in the community and is now offering students the cash.
The grants are for student essentials such as travel, books and resources.
To be in with a chance of receiving the grant students are asked to send a proposal explaining why they need the grant and what they would spend it on to the AGG management committee.
The proposal must include:
- Who you are
- Background information, including information about youth or charity work
- Why you are in need
- What will the grant be used for
- What your future aspirations are
Proposals should be emailed to: aspiregenerationsgroup@hotmail.co.uk.
The closing date for the submission of all proposals is Friday 3 February at 5.00pm.
Successful grant holders will be notified in early February and may be required to partake in promotional material such as news stories.
Aspire Generations Group maintains the right to withdraw any grants awarded on false pretences and misleading information.
