Group in bid to challenge stereotypes and oppression

A voluntary organisation set up to challenge stereotypes and oppression has been launched.
Aspire Generations Group (AGG), based in central Rochdale, also aims to tackle issues affecting youth and the community.
The group is also hoping to set up projects in the near future promoting community cohesion, cultural tolerance and respect.
AGG recently entered a prize draw which was administered by the Home Retail Group and won £150 Argos voucher in the community prize draw
Treasurer Younas Riasat said: “We appreciate and acknowledge the community prize we were awarded. I hope the Home Retail group continue to support worthy causes in the youth and community sector.”
