Woman, 42, cut free from car following collision

A 42-year-old woman has been cut free from a car following a collision in Rochdale.
The emergency services were called to Spotland Road at the junction with Mitchell Street shortly before 8.30am this morning (Monday 23 January).
A Volkswagon Polo and a Ford Focus were involved in the collision.
The woman was cut free from the Volkswagon by the fire service and has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
