Artists call on dog walkers for exhibition
Date published: 20 January 2012
Dog walkers who use Era Mill Park are being offered the opportunity for their pets to features in a book and exhibition.
Artists Liam Curtin and Caroline Edge are photographing dogs that use the park regularly to feature in a book and exhibition at Touchstones Gallery café.
The project hopes to bring together old and new users of the park and was initiated by Great Places Housing who have recently opened a new residential development at the site.
Over twelve dogs have already had their canine close up and now the artists want to make sure that no dogs are left out of the exhibition.
If you walk your dog regularly through Era Mill Park or along the canal at Woodbine Street and would like them to feature in the book contact Liam Curtin on LiamCurtin1@aol.com or 07962 783 100 to arrange your pooch’s portrait.
