Teen suffers severe cuts in collision

A teenager suffered severe cuts during a road traffic collision in Heywood.
Fire-fighters from Heywood Fire Station were called to Middleton Road just after 8.00pm on Tuesday night, (10 January) following reports of a collision.
There were thought to be four people in a van which had turned onto its side.
A 17-year-old man suffered severe cuts to his elbow and shock. He was taken to hospital for treatment and later released.
A 20-year-old man suffered shock and was treated at the scene by the fire service.
Two others were uninjured.
Police monitored traffic whilst the fire service dealt with the casualties and helped to make the vehicle safe.
