Redwood School
Welcome back - we would like to take this opportunity to wish all our pupils, families and carers a belated happy new year and hope that 2012 is a good year for you!
This year promises to be another successful one at Redwood as we continue to provide our young people with excellent teaching and learning opportunities and a variety of additional enrichment programmes.
We will be embracing the spirit of the 2012 London Olympic Games with a variety of organised activities for all our young people to take part in. We will be holding our own Winter Games on Friday 10 February – watch this space for more details in the next few weeks.
Our After School and Youth Clubs programme, which has been so successful, starts again on Tuesday 10 January with the Saturday club starting on 14 January. For more details please contact David Butterworth at school.
Parents who have shown an interest in taking part in a Signalong Course on Saturday mornings, the date has now been confirmed as Saturday 21 January, 10.00am – 12.00pm, for 7 weeks. There are 20 places available for the course with priority being given to Year 7 parents / carers. For more details on this please contact Carmel Brophy, Deputy Headteacher, at school.
If you have had a change of phone number or address over the Christmas break could you please advise us as soon as possible. Thank you.
