Rochdale residents looking for a brand new challenge in 2012 may find exactly what they are looking for if they team up with Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity and take part in a sporting event.

Whether it is a bike ride, swim, run or even the challenge of a life time, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity has something for everyone in their jam packed events calendar throughout 2012.

The charity which supports the largest children’s hospital in the UK has places available in a number of events including The UK’s most iconic 10k, the Great Manchester Run and Gold Challenge, a mass participation legacy to the 2012 Olympic Games giving you a taste of what it is like to undertake an Olympic challenge. The charity also has a number of places available in overseas challenges including a Vietnam Hill Tribe Trek taking place in October.

By taking part in one of the events, participants will be directly benefiting the 185,000 patients, and their families, that the hospital cares for each year.
